Το νεκροταφείο του Φαλήρου γνωστό από τον προηγούμενο αιώνα, αποκαλύφθηκε ξανά στην πλήρη έκτασή του τη δεκαετία του 2010 με αφορμή την ανέγερση του Κέντρου Πολιτισμού Σταύρος Νιάρχος. 

Η έκδοση εστιάζει στα μελαμβαφή αγγεία των δύο κύριων περιόδων χρήσης του νεκροταφείου του Φαλήρου, του τέλους του 8ου - πρώιμου 6ου αι. π.Χ. και του ύστερου 6ου - πρώιμου 5ου αι. π.Χ., και στα μελανόγραφα κύπελλα  για την πρώτη περίοδο, στις μελανόμορφες/μελανόγραφες λήκυθους και τα τρία ερυθρόμορφα αγγεία για τη δεύτερη. 

Στη μελέτη δίνεται έμφαση και στη συγκριτική προσέγγιση με ανάλογα ευρήματα από άλλα γνωστά νεκροταφεία της Αττικής. 

The cemetery of Phaleron, already known from excavations of the previous century, was revealed again in its full extension in the 2010s on the occasion of the construction of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. 

The present study focuses on the black-glazed vases of the two main periods of use of the cemetery of Phaleron: the late 8th-early 6th c. BC and the late 6th-early 5th c. BC. In addition to the black-glazed vases, the black-painted cups were included for the earlier period, and the black-figured lekythoi and three red-figure vases for the later period.

Emphasis is also given for the comparative approach with similar finds from other known cemeteries of Attika.
