The House of Mosaics was excavated between 1972 and 1980 by Swiss archaeologists. It was built around 370 BC and was destroyed by gunfire about a hundred years later. This house stands out thanks to its floors, four of which are adorned with beautifully decorated pebble mosaics dating back to the 4th century BC and bear mythological, floral and floral decoration. Almost all mobile items were destroyed or removed. However, some fine art objects such as the Gorgon (Gorgon head) on display at the Museum have survived.
